Mr. Ketan Shah is a trained and accredited Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the U.K.
- He is a full time Consultant at Morriston Hospital, Swansea since 2015 and runs clinics at Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, Parkway Dental clinic and HMT Sancta Maria Hospital.
- He has a special interest in treatment of oral cancer and reconstruction, and a practice which also includes management of skin cancers of the head and neck region.
- As an extensively-trained, experienced and fully accredited Dental Surgeon, Ketan can also help you with problems of wisdom teeth, complex dentoalveolar surgery including benign cyst and lesions of the jaw and rehabilitation of missing teeth with dental implants and salivary gland problems.
- He is also a core member of the Head & Neck Cancer team at Morriston Hospital, Swansea and Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) in Bridgend. He treats 100+ cases of mouth and skin cancers every year.

Had a wisdom tooth removed today at Parkway after a referral from my dentist. I was very nervous but everyone was so lovely and kind. The removal process, risks and after care were explained thoroughly and during the procedure they regularly checked on me. Every where was very clean and bright looking. Had an appointment for a consultation on my problem with wisdom tooth, had an x Ray taken on the full jaw. Given clear advice and told they could remove there and then for me, the support from the team there was excellent and the dentist was so quick in getting the tooth out it made the whole thing painless. I am a nervous patient and will definitely be going back for the next part of treatment soon. Highly recommended!

Can't praise this place enough! My 9 week old little girl had a severe tongue tie and I was having real trouble getting an NHS referral. I booked a consultation with Mr Shah who took one look at her tongue and agreed that it needed to be divided. The procedure was over in seconds and I don't think she felt a thing, it was definitely more traumatic for me! The nurses with Mr Shah were so kind and supportive, I really can't thank them enough.

I recently had a tongue-tie removed (lingual frenectomy) with Mr Shah, Parkway's maxillofacial consultant. I cannot praise the service and care I received highly enough. I had my condition seen and remedied in a single visit. Mr Shah could not have been more considerate. The procedure was totally pain free and has dramatically improved my quality of life by improving my tonguee mobility, breathing and, most amazingly, my posture, by releasing tension in my neck and back. Problems that have been with me for nearly 60 years were resolved in half an hour for £379. It's an incredible bargain!

Excellent practice in every sense. Clear communication and reminders from very friendly and helpfull reception staff. Kind and professional nurse, and a highly skilled dentist who extracted 2 teeth in a calm and efficient way with a minimum of pain or worry. I have been to many dental practices in my life, Parkway is joint top.
